Sara & Chase's Aiken Engagement Session

I photographed Sara back when she graduated from Clemson and now I get to photograph her wedding to Chase in May! Sara and Chase are such a sweet couple and I loved getting to know them more during their engagement session. You can tell how much they love being around each other. The whole session was full of them laughing, hugging, and having fun together. We explored the venue where they will be married next May, Rose Hill Estate. I really love working at this venue. I actually got to photograph Sara’s brother’s wedding here years ago. So excited to be working with the whole family again!

When we first started taking photos Sara said, “Roxanne shoots very candidly, you just go with it”…I loved it! She knows me and my style well. Chase had no trouble going along with it! How did he propose?

We went to one of our favorite spots in Clemson - the docks that sit right on Lake Hartwell. He told me we were having a date night and were going to watch the sunset before having a nice dinner afterwards. We were standing on the edge of the dock looking at the water when he asked me to turn around and do something cute so he could take a boomerang of me...naturally I was shaking my butt when he told me to turn and look at him and he was down on one knee.
