Melissa & Matt | Lake Murray Photographer

It was hard work putting out two weddings this week. Especially dealing with a cold from Sunday-Tuesday. But if I don't meet my own personal deadlines I feel so defeated. Maybe one day i'll cut myself some slack ;).

Anyways...on to Melissa and Matt. I love this couple. It brings me so much joy to photograph old friends. Melissa and I date back to 1997? I think? And Matt and I were in the same grade at Gilbert Elementary/Middle until my family moved back to our home town when I was in the 8th grade. I was truly honored when asked to photograph their wedding, there is something about working with old friends that will never get old. As you can see from the photos, these two are a hoot. Always making me laugh and keeping a constant smile on my face. There were many times I busted out laughing while editing all their photos, love it. They got married on Melissa's family's land on beautiful Lake Murray and ended the night with a hopping party, which  I got fussed at a few times by M & M for holding my camera too much and not dancing...I have never been told that :). Don't worry, I danced a few times and sometimes danced with camera in hand. So much fun! Melissa and Matt, thank you for having me there on your special day!
