Charleston Harbor Sailboat Proposal

I stumbled upon these images the other day and had forgotten how much I LOVED these! My good friend Ivey Gibb asked me to come along and help her photograph this sweet sailboat proposal. It took place on the Charleston Harbor and was an amazing experience. Ed, the lucky guy, planned the whole trip for him and his then girlfriend Priscilla. Of course she said yes when he popped the question! It was so beautiful to ride and witness the whole thing. During our ride we got to take a look at The Battery from the water, a different view than I had ever seen. Things got even more interesting when we had to hurry back to the dock because there was a storm coming. It was a bit frightening being on the water and watching the storm roll in! I'm so thankful to have been a part of such a beautiful day. Thank you Ivey for asking me to second shoot!
